Welcome to TravelDeck. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the TravelDeck mobile application (“App”), its services, features and content. By using the App, you fully accept these Terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the service.
1. Description of the service
TravelDeck is an application for planning and managing group trips. The App allows you to organize itineraries, transportation, accommodation, shared expenses, documents, photos, group chat and other travel-related aspects, including through features powered by artificial intelligence.
The App is available for free on the App Store and Google Play. Some advanced features powered by artificial intelligence require the purchase of AI credits through in-app purchases.
2. Registration and account
To use TravelDeck, you must create an account by providing truthful and up-to-date information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur through your account.
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you declare that you have the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
3. AI credit system and in-app purchases
3.1 How AI credits work
TravelDeck uses an AI credit system for features powered by artificial intelligence. Credits can be purchased through packages available as in-app purchases. Once purchased, credits are added to your personal balance.
3.2 Transfer and use of credits
To use AI features within a trip, you need to transfer credits from your personal balance to the specific trip. AI features (itinerary generation, travel guides, transportation and accommodation search, suggestions, analysis and others) consume credits from the trip balance based on the complexity of the requested operation.
3.3 Refund policy
Purchased AI credits are non-refundable. In-app purchases are subject to the standard policies of the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Any refund requests must be submitted directly to Apple or Google according to their respective procedures.
4. Content generated by artificial intelligence
Important notice: Itineraries, travel guides, transportation suggestions, accommodation proposals, expense analysis, packing lists and any other content generated by TravelDeck’s AI are automatically produced by artificial intelligence models and may contain errors, inaccuracies or outdated information.
AI-generated content:
- Does not constitute professional advice of a travel, legal, financial or any other nature.
- May contain errors regarding prices, schedules, availability, document requirements, local conditions and other information.
- Is not guaranteed in terms of accuracy, completeness or timeliness.
- Must always be verified by the user before making travel decisions, bookings or purchases.
TravelDeck assumes no liability for decisions made based on AI-generated content.
5. User content
5.1 Responsibility
You are solely responsible for all content that you upload, publish or share through the App, including but not limited to: photos, documents, chat messages, notes, comments and any other material (“User Content”).
You agree not to upload or share content that:
- Infringes the rights of third parties, including intellectual property and privacy rights.
- Is illegal, defamatory, offensive, threatening or discriminatory.
- Contains malware, viruses or malicious code.
- Violates applicable laws or these Terms.
5.2 License to User Content
You retain full ownership of your User Content. By uploading content to the App, you grant TravelDeck a limited, non-exclusive and revocable license to store, process and display such content solely for the purpose of providing the service.
6. Group trips and data sharing
Note on sharing: When you participate in a group trip, all trip members can view the shared trip data, including: itinerary, expenses, photos uploaded to the group gallery, transportation and accommodation proposals, chat messages, packing list, to-do list and other trip-related information.
By participating in a group trip, you consent to sharing this data with the other participants. You are responsible for evaluating what information to share within the trip context.
7. Personal documents
Documents uploaded to the personal section (document wallet) are visible exclusively to the user who uploaded them. TravelDeck does not share personal documents with other trip participants, unless the user explicitly chooses to share them.
8. Intellectual property
The TravelDeck App, including its source code, design, logos, trademarks, text, graphics and architecture, is the exclusive property of TravelDeck and is protected by Italian and international intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, decompile or create derivative works from the App or any of its components without written authorization.
User Content remains the property of its respective authors, as specified in section 5.2.
9. Limitation of liability
The App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
TravelDeck does not guarantee:
- The accuracy, reliability or completeness of AI-generated content.
- The correctness of information regarding prices, schedules, or availability of transportation or accommodation.
- The uninterrupted, error-free or secure operation of the App.
- The suitability of the service for a particular purpose.
In no event shall TravelDeck, its directors, employees or collaborators be held liable for direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from the use or inability to use the App, including but not limited to: financial losses, missed bookings, travel inconveniences, data loss or any other damages.
10. Account suspension and termination
TravelDeck reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account, without prior notice, in the event of:
- Violation of these Terms of Service.
- Abusive, fraudulent or unlawful use of the App or its features.
- Behavior that harms other users or the operation of the service.
- Attempted manipulation of the AI credit system.
In the event of account termination, unused remaining AI credits will not be refunded.
11. Changes to the Terms
TravelDeck reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be communicated through the App or via email. Continued use of the App after publication of the changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
We encourage you to periodically review this page to stay informed about the terms of use.
12. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Italian law. For any dispute arising from the interpretation or enforcement of these Terms, exclusive jurisdiction shall lie with the court of the consumer’s place of residence or domicile, pursuant to the Italian Consumer Code (Legislative Decree 206/2005), where applicable.
